Need help with Software approval to RTCA DO-178B (or C)?

My decades of experience in getting high integrity software approved by the aviation regulatory authorities (FAA, EASA, TCCA) are now available to help you get a smooth ride to an approved product. Whether you need to work at the most demanding level ("A") or at less demanding levels, I have the experience and skills to get you through the 'certification' process as quickly and painlessly as possible.  My assistance may be in the form of direct work ( e.g writing documents, qualification of tools), or more indirect via gap analysis, document reviews, SQA training, subcontractor monitoring, EASA, FAA, and TCCA liaison, or (at their discretion) as an ‘extension’ of TCCA. Contact me via the information on the WAB page to learn more.

Jan 2008 I started to work with clients and Transport Canada to facilitate applicants attaining certification for their software under RTCA DO-178B. At times this involves substituting for Transport Canada at review meetings. At this time I also joined three sub comities working on RTCA-DO178C, though this waned during the Summer of 2009 owing to my wife being ill.

2009 – 2010 I continued to work for clients involved in 178B related applications. These have now covered aircraft, engine and system level applications, at levels A through D, and involved ten different Companies that I either worked for or oversaw the work of. This has included direct work ( e.g qualification of tools, document production), document reviews, SQA training, subcontractor monitoring, and as an ‘extension’ of TCCA. I am still involved in 178C development.
